PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular operation switch and its control method with favorable feeling in the pushing of a switch knob and high quality capable of restoring usual action feeling in a short time even if it is left in an extremely low temperature environment for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The vehicular operation switches SW1, SW1a-SW1c, SW2 and SW3 each provided with a light source L for illuminating the switch knobs N1a-N1c, N2 and N3 from a back surface side in which a slide part is coated with grease is made to serve as the vehicular operation switches in each of which a light source L is forcedly lit by temperature information in a cabin.
