<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump for pumping a liquid, which is a reagent dosing pump used in an exhaust gas dosing system for overcoming or alleviating the problem in which diffusion of heat from a solenoid to the circumference is limited due to a relatively high temperature of the vicinity of the solenoid. <P>SOLUTION: The pump comprises an inlet means 66, an outlet means 26, a pumping chamber 154 for receiving the liquid from the inlet means 66, and actuator arrangements 70, 104, 126 and 128 operable between a first position and a second position and arranged to pump the liquid from the pumping chamber 154 into the outlet means 26. The inlet means 66 and the pumping chamber 154 are in fluid communication with a supply passage 112 when the actuator arrangements 70, 104, 126, and 128 are in the first position, and the supply passage 112 extends into or around the actuator arrangements 70, 104, 126 and 128 so as to allow transfer of heat from the actuator arrangements 70, 104, 126, 128 to the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
