<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a driver to use a parking space after confirming vacancy in a parking lot in situ without any reservation, and to allow a user having the parking space to change time period available to an unspecified number of drivers from remote places through a communication line, when the user provides his parking space to the unspecified number of drivers when not in use to make effective use of the parking space. <P>SOLUTION: A parking device is provided with a lock mechanism 2 for blocking entry of a vehicle to be parked in the parking space 1; a fee payment mechanism 3 for controlling the lock mechanism 2; a parking time display mechanism 4 for displaying an available time of the parking space 1; a warning mechanism 5 connected to the parking time display mechanism 4, which detects a vehicle entering the parking space 1 in a time period other than the available time displayed by the parking time display mechanism 4 to output a warning signal; and a remote change mechanism 6 for changing the available time displayed by the parking time display mechanism 4 from remote places through a communication line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
