PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan type static eliminator having an annular ion generating part in which ion generation/transport efficiency is superior, in which there is less ozone formation, and in which space saving is possible. SOLUTION: This is the fan type static eliminator having the annular ion generating part to retain an ion generating element 10 formed by having a dielectric body 11 composed of a flexible material, a discharge electrode 12 having a minute protrusion arranged and installed on a dielectric surface, and an induction electrode 14 arranged and installed on the rear face of the dielectric body in an annular support body, a fixing jig 2 for detachably fixing the annular ion generating part, a high voltage power supply to apply a voltage to the discharge electrode and the induction electrode, a fan to generate an air current against the annual ion generating part, and a cabinet to store and retain them.
