PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor reduced in the risk of the deterioration of the performance of a permanent magnet even if a rotating shaft is fit to the rotor by shrink fitting. SOLUTION: The rotor comprises: a first pipe 56 which is attached to a substantially cylindrically-shaped rotor core 21, and has a shaft hole 49 at its inside; a second pipe 57 which is arranged outside the first pipe 56, and has a plurality of magnet insertion holes 22 in the circumferential direction; ribs 55 which connect the first pipe 56 and the second pipe 57, and are arranged in the circumferential direction at intervals; and wind holes 45 or rivet holds 46 which are formed at the radial outside of the ribs 55 in the axial direction. The first pipe 56 and the second pipe 57 are arranged apart from each other, slits 47 which are surrounded by the first pipe 56, the second pipe 57 and the ribs 55, and a thin part 48a and a thin part 48b each having a prescribed thickness are formed between the wind holes 45 or the rivet holes 46 and the slit 47 in the axial direction.
