PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance motor characteristics by arranging split stator cores aligned and providing each split stator core with a self-aligning function thereby enhancing circularity of the inside diameter of a stator. SOLUTION: In a stator with split stator cores arranged therein annularly, each split core has a back yoke portion and a teeth portion projecting inward of the stator from the back yoke portion wherein the back york portions of adjoining split stator core are bonded each other at a bonding end face, i. e. the end face in the circumferential direction of stator at the back york portion of each split stator core. The bonding end face on one side in the circumferential direction at the back york portion of each split stator core forms one arcuate convex surface from the outer circumferential end to the inner circumferential end, while the bonding end face on the other side forms one arcuate concave surface from the outer circumferential end to the inner circumferential end. The back york portions of adjoining split stator cores are bonded by fitting the arcuate convex surface in the arcuate concave surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
