PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of contamination, to keep a gas flow rate constant even if the concentration of the sample gas supplied to a panel is changed and to facilitate the concentration adjustment and maintenance of the sample gas. SOLUTION: This olfactometer 1 for diluting the sample gas to supply the diluted sample gas to an olfactory port 2 is equipped with a sample gas flow channel 3, the dilution gas flow channel 4 meeting with the sample gas flow channel 3, the mixing part 6 provided on the downstream side of the position 5 meeting with the dilution gas flow channel 4 of the sample gas flow channel 3 and the waste flow channel 8 provided on the downstream side of the mixing part 6 of the sample gas flow channel 3 and branched a branch point 7 in which a gas with a flow rate x(L/min) flows. A flow rate control unit 9 is provided on the downstream side of the branch point 7 of the sample gas flow channel 3 to control the flow rate of the gas to x-y(L/min) while a flow rate control unit 10 is provided in the waste flow channel 8 to control the flow rate of the gas to y(L/min).
