PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant circuit using a vortex tube capable of efficiently converting kinetic energy from expansion energy into energy of pressure and temperature in an expansion process of refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant circuit, and capable of carrying out highly efficient operation using it. SOLUTION: The refrigerant circuit is composed by connecting a compressor 1, a first four way valve 2, a first heat exchanger 3, a second four way valve 4, a second heat exchanger 5, and the vortex tube 6. The vortex tube 6 is composed of a tube body 7, a high temperature fluid discharge part 8 opened with a high temperature fluid discharge opening 14, a diffuser 9 opened with an expanding conical low temperature fluid discharge opening 15, and a head part 10. A nozzle 11 converting the pressure energy of a high pressure refrigerant into velocity energy to depress and expand the refrigerant is attached to the head part 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
