PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove foreign matter adhered to the inner surface of a discharge passage of a valve seat member by automatically moving forward and backward an operating member. SOLUTION: A valve casing is formed by a main body 1 and a lid 2. An inlet 5, a valve chamber 4, and an outlet 7 are formed in the valve casing. A valve seat member 9 having the discharge passage 8 connecting the valve chamber 4 to the outlet 7 side is provided. A float as a valve member fitted to and separated from the valve seat member 9 to open and close the discharge passage 8 is disposed within the valve chamber 4. A magnet 5 is fixed to the inner wall of an outlet passage 10 of the lid 2. A plug 13 is screwed coaxially with the valve seat member 9, and a thermosensitive ferrite 16 as a thermosensitive magnetic body is stowed in a storage recessed part 14 of the plug 13 in opposition to the magnet 15 so as to be displaceable in the axial direction of the discharge passage 8. The operating member 17 movable forward and backward in the discharge passage 8 is fixed to the ferrite 16. The ferrite 16 is separated from the magnet 15 at a temperature higher than Curie temperature, and attracted to the magnet 15 at the Curie temperature or lower. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
