The invention relates to a method for switching streetlighting. At least one illumination device is coupled to driveable switching means for activating and deactivating the illumination device. With the aid of means for creating and sending messages, a request message is created, and the request message is sent to a reception device. The reception device receives the request message and drives the switching means as a function of the request message. At least one associated illumination device is activated with the aid of the switching means. |
