The method involves producing vehicle damper commands for reception by a subsystem for suspension damper control by a subsystem control module (14). Subsystem damper commands for each of dampers are produced, and a determination is made whether any of the vehicle damper commands for any of the dampers has a precedence for the corresponding subsystem damper command. A modified subsystem damper command for each of the damper is determined based on the vehicle damper commands and the subsystem damper commands. An independent claim is also included for a system for coordination of vehicle stability control systems of a vehicle.
