A plasma display device is provided to reduce occurrence of flicker by adjusting a length of an address period, thereby improving the image quality. A plasma display panel(100) displays an image on a screen in a frame comprising at least one subfield. A driver(110) makes a length of an address period at a first frame, in which an average power level is a first level, and a length of an address period at a second frame, in which an average power level is a second level lower than the first level, different. The driver makes the length of the address period at the first frame longer than the second frame relatively.
