A repeater using an open type dual duplexer and a method therefor are provided to amplify signals by distinguishing the signals into a forward signal and a reverse signal even when properties of an amplifier refer to a narrowband, and to commonly and properly use the amplifier for input/output paths, thereby realizing simplification of used components and improvement of power efficiency. A dual duplexer consists of two antenna ports(21,23), two input ports(24,25), and one output port(22). The first LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(203) and the second LNA(210) amplify signals outputted from the input ports(24,25) of the dual duplexer. A high-power amplifier(206) amplifies output signals of the first LNA(203) or the second LNA(210) which pass through a predetermined processing function, and outputs the amplified signals to the output port(22). |
