A display apparatus is provided to reduce magnitude of static electricity introduced from a top chassis to prevent damage to parts and data driving chips installed on a printed circuit board. A display apparatus(700) includes a containing member(100). A display panel(200) is secured on the containing member and displays an image in response to a driving signal. A printed circuit board(500) is connected with the display panel electrically to provide the driving signal to the display panel, adjacent to one side of the containing member. A top chassis(600) is combined with the containing member and covers an edge of an upper side of the display panel and the printed circuit board. A static electricity preventing pad(510) is interposed between the printed circuit board and the top chassis, and reduces magnitude of static electricity generated from the top chassis and introduced into the printed circuit board. |
