A device and a process for transporting a sleeve are provided to easily transport the sleeve parallel to a sleeve axis from a first working room to a second working room. In a device for transporting a sleeve(1) from a first working room(2) of production equipment to a second working room(3). The first working room includes a mandrel for lifting the sleeve. An air jet(9) having a mouthpiece(10) is installed in the first working room. The mouthpiece is directed to the mandrel in an opposite direction of a transporting direction of the sleeve. The air jet is disposed coaxially to the mandrel. The air jet is designed as a Laval jet. The air jet has an exit angle between 5 and 70 degrees, in particular between 15 and 55 degrees. A holding unit(17) is installed for the sleeve, which arrives at the second working room. |
