An overturning apparatus of a floodgate is installed to an upper structure of a support structure to overturn a floodgate by multistage in the direction of flowing water or to keep a floodgate at the inclined state by using a float reciprocated vertically according to a variation of water level in a float chamber, or, to overturn floodgate in the direction of flowing water by operating a lever member manually. An overturning apparatus of a floodgate for overturning a floodgate(3) by multistage in the direction of flowing water or to keep a floodgate at the inclined state by using a float(6) reciprocated vertically according to a variation of water level in a float chamber(5) includes a driving shaft installed to the inside of a case and rotated in the direction of unfastening a wire rope(7) from a wire drum(9) to supply rotary force to the wire drum if a floodgate erected by a wire rope overturns in the direction of flowing water, a brake drum fixed to the driving shaft and placed in a cover composed of a brake cover, a brake band having elasticity wound on the brake drum between the cover and the brake drum, a connecting arm installed to the outside of the case, connected with a float reciprocating vertically according to a variation in water level by a steel bar and fixed with one end of a rotary shaft installed to the inside of the case, an operating arm fixed to the other end of the rotary shaft located in the case and rotated in the direction of unfastening the brake band by the rotary shaft rotating when the float is floated upward by an increase in water level of a channel and the connecting arm is moved upward to release the braking force on the driving shaft. The overturning apparatus of a floodgate is also formed for overturning a floodgate in the direction of flowing water by operating a lever member manually using a manual and electromotive changeover lever unit, which is formed by installing a lever shaft to a bracket installed to an external wall of the case to be rotatable, connecting a slot plate fitted with the lever shaft with the connecting arm, fixing a push projection on the lever shaft, and fixing a lever member to the end of the lever shaft. |
