At least one optical sheet is interposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the plurality of light sources. A wire is bent for several times along a plate plane of the optical sheet to support the optical sheet. A chassis(90) includes a containing part containing the plurality of light sources, and a plurality of wire support parts(92) holding the wire. Wire tension control parts(100) supply tensible force to the wire.
