An environmentally friendly filler composition for artificial lawn, a method for preparing an environmentally friendly filler by using the composition, and an environmentally friendly filler prepared by the method are provided to improve environmental friendliness by using no heavy metal such as lead, mercury, chromium and cadmium, and no volatile organic compound and by generating no dust. An environmentally friendly filler composition comprises 10-20 wt% of styrene-ethylene.butadiene-styrene(SEBS); 5-20 wt% of an olefin-based elastomer selected from the group consisting of propylene homopolymer, modified polypropylene, and modified polyethylene; 25-40 wt% of a paraffin-based or paraffin-naphthene-based mineral oil; 40-55 wt% of at least one filler selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate and talc; 0.5-1.0 wt% of weather resistant selected from the group consisting of a UV stabilizer, a UV screening agent and an oxidizing agent; and 0.10-0.15 wt% of an inorganic pigment.
