PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the permeation of a fuel through a resin member on an opening and make it possible to join an annular member to the opening in a integral and proper manner in a fuel tank formed with a resin member having a plurality of layers. SOLUTION: The resin member having an outer layer Po, an inner layer Pi, and a middle layer B is subjected to blow molding to integrally form the fuel tank body 1 and the opening 1h. On the opening, a tubular part 1e extends on the outside of the fuel tank, and a folded part 1b extends from the front end of the tubular part in the direction of widening the diameter of the opening to form a overlapping part 1d having an outer surface parallel to the opening surface. Meanwhile, stepped parts are formed on the annular member 2, on which a recession 2f is also formed to have an opening on the lower side against the upper side of the stepped parts. Then, a part of the overlapped part 1d is compressed to form a compressed part 1c, and part of the resin member is guided into the recession 2f of the annular member 2 to integrally join the annular member 2 to the opening.
