<p>The implant has a main body (2) in a radio transparent material constituted of C-shaped longitudinal elements (2a, 2b) placed back-to-back, where the implant is made of a biocompatible polymer material e.g. polyetheretherketone. The assembly defines two longitudinal recesses (6) retaining grafts, where each recess has a longitudinal opening, and a solid axle (9) constituted by external walls of the elements in contact. The opening is oriented towards exterior with respect to the axle. The elements and plates form a monoblock part, where the plates are made of a radio visible material. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a main body.</p> |
