USE OF HYDRAZINE DERIVATIVES FOR PEST CONTROL

The present invention relates to the use of a hydrazine derivative represented by the formula I for the control of the pest, chosen from the Ispotera, Hymenoptera, Orthoptera and Psocoptera orders: wherein R1 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; R2 and R3, which may be identical or different, are hydrogen, hydroxyl, C1 alkyl, C1-C6 alcoxy, C1-C6 alkylcarbonyl or phenylcarbonyl; R4 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; X is 1 to 5 identical or different substituents, chosen from hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6 alkyl and C1-C6 haloalkyl group; Y is 1 to 5 identical or different substituents, chosen among nitro and cyano; Z is halogen, cyano, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 halolakyl, C1-C6 alcoxy, C1-C6 haloalcoxy, C1-C6 halothioalkyl, C1-C6 haloalkylsulphinyl or C1-C6 haloalkylsulphonyl and W is oxygen or sulphur. The hydrazine derivatives defined by the formula I is used for protecting houses, materials for construction, furniture, leather products, fibers, vinyl articles, wires or cables against pest of the Rhinotermitide, Termitide, Kalotermitide and Termopside family, as well as for controlling pest of the Formicide family.
