<p>The invention relates to razors with protection and, particularly to razors with protection which have multiple-blade units defining some parallel sharp edges, arranged so as to pass one after the other over a skin surface to be shaved. According to the invention, the blade unit for razors with protection comprises a guard (2), a calotte (3) and a first (11), second (12) and a third (13) blade with parallel sharp edges, arranged in succession one after the other, between the guard and the calotte, at least one element chosen from the three blades, guard and calotte, being displaceable from a non-shaving position, occupied when the blade unit is at rest and not in use, for modifying an exposure dimension of the blades in the blade unit and for obtaining a modified geometry of the blades, wherein the exposure of the first blade (11) is not higher than zero and the exposure of the third blade (13) is not lower than zero, at least one of the first and the third blade having a different exposure when at least one displaceable element is in the non-shaving position. According to the invention, the blade unit has the guard and the calotte dispaceable against the force of a corresponding spring (20, 21) from a non-shaving position towards a predetermined operation position when there is obtained a modified geometry of the blades, and they may be brought in the non-shaving position by the spring force, position in which the blade edges are arranged under a plane tangent to the surface of contact with the skin of the guard and the calotte.</p> |
