A cleat 10 for use in mounting, between two upright supports, a fabricated metal fencing panel 1 of rectangular or generally rectangular and form, having lugs 2, 3 projecting laterally beyond each panel end, comprises a socket 12 of profile to accommodate either lug 2, 3 as a spigot and socket joint, with a mounting leg 13 extending at 90{ thereto. A through hole 14 is provided in the leg 13 to accommodate a bolt for attachment of the cleat, and hence the associated fencing panel, to an upright support. A mounting bracket 11 for similar use comprises a pair of spaced-apart sockets 12 projecting from the same side of an elongated body member 17 to accommodate the upper and lower lugs 2, 3. The body member 17 is provided with through holes 14 adjacent the sockets to accommodate mounting bolts to attach the body member to the upright support. |
