The device (10) has a pyrotechnical igniting unit (14) connected with a housing, and a locking unit (12), which is movable relative to the housing by impacting the locking unit through the igniting unit and is brought to an unlocked position from a locked position. The locking unit is formed as a single unit with the housing before impacting the locking unit through the igniting unit, where the locking unit is connected with the housing by a connecting rod, which cuts during impacting of the locking unit through the igniting unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a locking arrangement with an unlocking device (2) a method for manufacturing a pyrotechnical unlocking device.
