According to said method, an authentication of the key pair (Cred) is carried out without interaction between the certification authority (CA) and the receiver (E). A data item is transmitted from the receiver (E) to the certification authority (CA). The key pair (Cred) is made up of a first key part (privKey) and a second key part (pubKey) and transmitted to the receiver (E). The data item (P) is a key part of another key pair (Pseud) of the receiver (E) and the key pair (Cred) is transmitted in encrypted form from the certification authority (CA) to the receiver (E), whereby encryption is carried out by the certification authority (CA) based on the data item (P).
