<p>A clay brick (flat) using titanium dioxide sludge is provided to utilize the TiO2 sludge, a byproduct of the manufacture of TiO2, more effectively, and therefore to reduce environment destruction and recycle waste. A clay brick (flat) is manufactured by: mixing 10-45wt% of TiO2 sludge, 35-65wt% of china clay (or calcium silicate), and 20-60wt% of clay; adding water such that water content of the mixture is increased to 17-20wt% and kneading the mixture with water; putting the knead into a vacuum kneading extruder equipped with a clay brick shape mold and drying the clay brick in a drying chamber at 30-120deg.C for 36-48 hours; and baking at 1100-1200deg.C for 30-40 hours. The resulting clay brick bears natural yellow or brown color.</p> |
