A method for separating waste corrugated cardboard into lineboard pieces and a corrugated medium is provided to improve the efficiency in recovery of the lineboard pieces, by using a separating pulper and a defibrating pulper. Waste corrugated cardboard and white water are inputted into a first separating pulper(S210). An impeller is operated to separate the waste corrugated cardboard into lineboard pieces and a corrugated medium(S220). A water-level of the first separating pulper is kept by inputting white water while the corrugate medium are discharged(S230). The contents within the first separating pulper are discharged after checking the concentration of pulp within the first separating pulper(S240). The discharged contents are supplied to a rotary screen to be scattered into the air(S250). The lineboard pieces scattered within the rotary screen are washed and discharged(S260). The washed lineboard pieces are defibrated by a second defibrating pulper(S270).
