<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for detecting external force of a structure body which is easily performed and can detect damaged points, etc., of the structure body. <P>SOLUTION: The detecting apparatus is provided with: a first vessel 11 of synthetic resin material, etc., in which a first liquid 13 such as water is sealed up; and a second vessel 12 of glass, etc., which is housed in the first vessel 11 and in which a second liquid 14 such as Indian ink is sealed up.
