A terminal and a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiving method thereof are provided to enable a DMB receiving terminal to receive an authentication key provided from a broadcasting center and secure a right to receive a paid broadcast, thereby receiving the paid broadcast even in the DMB receiving terminal to which a limited reception system is not applied. A terminal comprises a tuner unit(310), an authentication key storage unit(320), and a control unit(330). The tuner unit receives and demodulates broadcasting channels. The authentication key storage unit stores an authentication key permitting the reception of a paid broadcasting channel out of the broadcasting channels. The control unit controls the paid broadcasting channel to be displayed according to the authentication key.
