A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily integrate the light emitting device by manufacturing the light emitting device with transparent resin or substrate material. A light emitting device includes a light emitting diode(20), and a micro lens(11). The light emitting diode is formed on one side of a substrate(27). The micro lens is formed at the other side of the substrate, and has the shape of a curved unevenness to prevent the surface of the substrate from being exposed by having a full fill-factor. The micro lens includes photocurable resin and thermosetting resin. A buffer layer(26) is formed at one side of the substrate, and is formed by epitaxial growth or CVD(Chemical Vapor Deposition).
