ANTI-THROMBUS AGENT COMPRISING EXTRACT OF HERBAL MIXTURE

A composition comprising the extracts of herbal mixture is provided to inhibit aggregation of human platelets induced by collagen or other various aggregation-inducing agents and production of thromboxan B2, so that the composition is useful for preventing and treating diseases accompanied by thrombus such as arteriosclerosis, cerebral hemorrhage, brain stroke and cerebral infarction. An anti-thrombus composition for prevention and treatment of diseases accompanied by thrombus comprises the extracts of herbal mixture containing 18-22 parts by weight of Phellodendron amurense RUPR., 8-12 parts by weight of Cnidium officinale, 4-8 parts by weight of Aconitum carmichaeli Debx and 3-7 parts by weight of Arisaematis rhizome, wherein the herbal mixture extracts are prepared by pulverizing and extracting the medicinal herbs with distilled water for 30 minutes, storing the extract solution at room temperature and filtering it, centrifuging the filtered solution at 10,000 rpm for 15 minutes, obtaining and filtering the supernatant, and freeze-drying the filtered supernatant at -70 deg. C. The anti-thrombus health food contains the anti-thrombus composition comprising the herbal mixture.
