An electrode, a method for preparing the electrode, and an electrochemical device containing the electrode are provided to improve the high temperature stability of a battery by increasing the interference adhesive strength between an inorganic/inorganic composite porous film and an electrode. An electrode comprises an electrode active material layer comprising electrically connected electrode active materials on one or both sides of a current collector, wherein an organic/inorganic porous film is formed on the one or both surface of an electrode. The organic/inorganic porous film comprises an integrated porous polymer support adhered to the surface of an electrode active material layer; and a composite coating layer comprising an inorganic particle and a binder polymer formed on at least one region selected from the surface of the polymer support and the some pore part of the supporter. The organic/inorganic porous film can act as a separator.
