A method for processing a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) using native language and a recording medium storing a program for executing the same are provided to determine whether a character string inputted through a web browser is the URL and the native language, and use a native language string including a dot as the URL effectively. A connection word for connecting to a webpage is primarily classified into a dot-included connection word and a dot-excluded connection word based on the dot included in the connection word(S1030). The dot-included connection word is secondarily classified based on whether characters below two byte is placed next the last dot of the dot-included connection word(S1050). The connection word is determined as the native language when the connection word includes no dot and the dot-included connection word has the characters below two bytes next the last dot(S1070,S1060). The connection word is determined as the URL when the connection word includes the dot and the dot-included connection word has the characters over two bytes next the last dot(S1090).
