A photographing apparatus for transmitting images to a mobile terminal is provided to reduce the costs compared with a digital camera by including only the least amount of parts required for capturing an image. A camera module(120) includes a lens and an image sensor for converting light made incident through the lens into an electrical signal. A Bluetooth module(110) performs Bluetooth communication with a mobile terminal. A controller(130) processes an image signal inputted through the camera module(120) and transmits the processed signal through the Bluetooth module(110). An input unit(140) inputs a signal for controlling the camera module(120). The controller drives the camera module(120) according to a control signal received from the mobile terminal. A battery(150) supplies power. A voltage regulator(160) converts the voltage of the battery(150) into a suitable voltage and outputs the same.
