The method involves providing a translation movement to a rod (100) of a blind rivet (R), for forming a support surface, by deformation under action of a nut (300), where the surface cooperates with a surface defined by a head (210) of a pin (220) for allowing fixation between sheet metals having fixation orifices. A rotational movement is provided to the rod of the rivet at screwing ends for installing a tension in the fixation between the sheet metals, where the rivet is placed inside the pin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a blind rivet permitting implementation of a method for structural fixation of elements (2) an installation tool comprising an installation nose adapted to a method for structural fixation of elements.
