An electronic device is provided to increase cooling efficiency by preventing heat of a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) from increasing temperature of coolant stored in a tank installed in the electronic device such as a notebook computer. An electronic part(21,22) is mounted on the PCB(19). A heat receiver(81,82) is mounted on the electronic part by a heat transfer plate and sections a circulation path of the coolant on the heat transfer plate. A circulation path circulates the coolant from the heat receiver. A heat exchanger receives heat from the coolant by being installed on the circulation path. The tank(37) is placed to the outside of the PCB and stores air in the circulation path by being installed on the circulation path. A pump(38) is placed to the outside of the PCB and circulates the coolant through the circulation path by being installed on the circulation path. A partition(84) is installed between the tank and the PCB. A fan part(32) of a liquid cooling part(27a) is placed outside the closed circulating loop. The tank and the pump are placed outside the periphery of the PCB. The tank is placed between the PCB and a DVD drive(23). Screws are utilized to fix the tank and the pump onto the bottom plate of a base(12a). A partition plate(84) is placed in a space between the PCB and the tank as well as between the PCB and the pump. The partition plate serves to isolate a space containing the PCB from a space containing both the tank and the pump. |
