ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DIODE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THEREOF

An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent other light-emitting pixel from being turned on by blocking the path of leakage current flowing along the surface of a conductive layer and to perform an etching process quickly. A manufacturing method of an OLED includes the steps of: forming a silicon insulation layer(40) on a lower electrode(20); forming an opening from the upper surface of the silicon insulation layer to the lower electrode by the dry etching of the silicon insulation layer to form an overhang structure of which the lowest side has a larger circumference than the highest side; forming a conductive layer(50a,50b) at the upper part of the lower electrode inside the opening, and at the silicon insulation layer; forming an organic layer(60) on the conductive layer formed at the upper part of the lower electrode inside the opening; and forming an upper electrode(70) at the upper part of the conductive layer placed at the upper part of the silicon insulation layer, and at the upper part of the organic layer.
