A condenser microphone is provided to maintain a high sensitivity characteristic by stably maintaining the condenser gap between a back plate and a diaphragm even at high temperature. A condenser microphone(21) includes a casing(22), a diaphragm(30), and a back plate(31). The diaphragm and the back plate are received in the casing. The diaphragm faces a sound hole of the casing. The back plate faces the diaphragm with a spacer(29). The outer peripheral shape of the back plate is smaller than the inner peripheral shape of the casing to form the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the back plate and the inner peripheral surface of the casing. A holding member(33) is made of spring material, and holds the back plate from the opposite side of the diaphragm.
