摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely efficient method for quantifying chlorine in an organic chlorine compound, especially dioxins or PCBs included in an extracting solvent, after the organic chlorine compound in a sample is solvent extracted. <P>SOLUTION: After the organic chlorine compound is solvent extracted, the measurement method is performed by quantifying the chlorine in the organic chlorine compound included in the extracting solvent. The measurement method includes a step for generating a metal chloride by the reaction of the organic chlorine compound with a metal under a heated condition, a step for generating hydrogen chloride by bringing the metal chloride into contact with hydrogen gas, and a step for introducing the hydrogen chloride into a hydrogen ion concentration measurement system. The measurement method measures the heat of reaction when the metal chloride prepared as mentioned above is brought into contact with and reacts with the hydrogen gas so that the amount of the organic chlorine compound in the sample is calculated from the result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
