The invention relates to a technique for providing a battery having a polypropylene case and unitary cover and capable of being repaired and renovated. The cover (1) is efficiently, sealingly and interchangeably attached by means of the rim (2) thereof engaging a sleeve (3) secured to the case (4) and supported by inserts (5). High-quality element connections ensure high electrical conductivity, low costs and quick handling. The positive and negative electrodes are easy to separate from the rims of the two terminals incorporated into the battery cover. The invention is particularly suitable for use in the manufacture and home repair of storage batteries. |
