A toy candle, a lighting toy and a control method for the same are provided to increase the interesting effects of a toy candle by lighting the candle when the circumference becomes dark. A toy candle(100) includes a housing(101), a doll(102), a light source, a light amount measuring unit, a lighting control unit, a doll ascending/descending unit and an ascending/descending control unit. The doll is ascended and descended relative to the housing. The light source is installed inside the doll. The light amount measuring unit is used to measure the light amount in the circumference. The lighting control unit lights the light source when the light amount in the circumference is less than the critical light amount that is set up previously. The ascending/descending control unit descends the doll when the light amount in the circumference is more than the critical light amount and ascends the doll when the light amount in the circumference is less than the critical light amount. |
