METHOD FOR FORMING PATTERN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

A method for forming a pattern, and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display are provided to form a conductive pattern with high quality, thereby enhancing reliability of the liquid crystal display having the conductive pattern. A method for forming a pattern includes the steps of: forming a bank layer(Bo) on a substrate(P); performing lyophobic treatment on a surface of the bank layer; forming a bank by patterning the lyophobic treated bank layer; changing a hydroxyl of the surface of a pattern forming region divided by the bank into alkyl type; placing functional liquid at the pattern forming region; and forming the pattern by sintering of the functional liquid.
