A handsfree control device and a method thereof are provided to change a call mode of a mobile terminal to a call end mode by releasing a connection between an amplifier and a microphone terminal when a user presses an end button. The first switch(203) instantly grounds a microphone terminal of a mobile terminal(100). An echo canceller(206) cancels an echo and noise of a voice signal outputted from an external microphone. An amplifier(205) amplifies the voice signal outputted from the echo canceller(206). The second switch(204) connects or disconnects the amplifier(205) and the mobile terminal(100). When a call connection signal is received from a handsfree(200), a controller(202) connects the first switch(203) and then connects the second switch(204). When a call termination signal is received from the handsfree(200), the controller(202) opens the second switch(204) and then connects the first switch(203).
