An optical compensation film, a method of manufacturing the optical compensation film, a polarizer and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) are provided to improve contrast and a viewing angle, reduce color shift dependent on a viewing angle and to compensate liquid cell optically. A method of manufacturing an optical compensation film(13A,113A) includes a step of flow-spreading a polymer solution used as a material of a transparent support containing at least one Rth elevating agent on a band, a step of drying the film fabricated through the flow spreading step, and a step of stripping off the film from the band and drawing the film at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the transparent support by 15 to 100 degrees centigrade. |
