A portable terminal having a camera lens assembly is provided to maintain the standstill state of a lens housing by incising one end of a lens housing and forming a friction flake and a friction protrusion so that the friction protrusion can rub against the inner wall of a recess to accept the lens housing. A portable terminal having a camera lens assembly comprises a recess, a lens housing(103), a friction flake(133), and a friction protrusion(135). The recess to accept the lens housing(103) is formed at the portable terminal. The lens housing(103) is rotatively joined with the recess. The friction flake(133) is formed at the lens housing(103). The friction protrusion(135) is formed at one end of the friction flake(133). As the lens housing(103) rotates, the friction protrusion(135) rubs against the inner wall of the recess. The friction flake(133) accumulates elastic force, getting bent inward the lens housing(103) as the friction protrusion(135) contacts with the inner wall of the recess.
