摘要 A substrate for an electro-optical device, an electro-optical device and an electronic apparatus are provided to prevent an aperture ratio from being decreased and reduce flicker caused by optical leak current. A substrate for an electro-optical device includes a substrate, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines(3a) arranged in an intersecting manner on the substrate, pixel electrodes respectively formed in a plurality of pixels which are defined corresponding to intersections of the data lines and the scan lines and form a display region on the substrate, transistors and a light-shielding layer. Each of the transistors is formed in a non-open region between open regions of neighboring pixels and includes a semiconductor layer(1a). The semiconductor layer includes a channel region having a channel length along one direction in the display region, a data line source/drain region(1d) electrically connected to a corresponding data line, a pixel electrode source/drain region(1e) electrically connected to a corresponding pixel electrode, a first junction region(1b) formed between the channel region and the data line source/drain region and a second junction region(1c) formed between the channel region and the pixel electrode source/drain region. The light-shielding layer is formed above the semiconductor layer and includes a first part(301) covering the first junction region and a second part(302) covering the second junction region. The width of the second part in a direction perpendicular to the one direction is greater than the first part.
