An image forming device driver and an image forming using the same are provided to apply to various image forming devices universally by converting printing data into language of each image forming device according to an emulation type of each image forming device, and forming a printing environment setting menu according to specification of the image forming device. A controller(242) sets up a printing setting menu for setting the printing environment by requesting the specification of the image forming device transmitting the printing data. An integrated information processor(244) converts the printing data into the language of the image forming device based on the specification. The specification includes emulation type information and available printing function information of the image forming device. The integrated information processor includes an image processor(244-1) converting the printing data into the language of the image forming device by operating an emulator corresponding to the emulation type of the image forming device, and a color processor(244-2) converting the printing data into color or mono image forming device language based on the emulation type.
