METHOD OF MANUFACTURING POLYOXY ALKYLENE ALKENYL ETHER USING TWO-PHASE REACTION

A method for preparing a polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether, and a polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether prepared by the method are provided to improve production yield by using a nonaqueous organic solvent and to enhance economical efficiency by carrying out the reaction at a room temperature and at an atmospheric pressure. A method for preparing a polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether comprises the steps of reacting an aqueous solution containing a polyoxyalkylene alcohol and a water-soluble base, and a nonaqueous solution containing a nonaqueous organic solvent and an alkenyl halide; and optionally purifying the obtained polyoxyalkylene alkenyl ether. Preferably the reaction is carried out at a temperature of 0-40 deg.C under an atmospheric pressure.
