A construction block is provided to have environment-friendly effect, to be beneficial to health, to make humidity control and deodorization possible, to purify polluted air and to prevent diseases and insect pests. A construction block is formed by mixing 80~85 volume percent loess, 3~4 volume percent pyroligneous liquid, 10~15 volume percent limestone powder, 10~15 volume percent active carbon, 20~25 volume percent wood blocks and 5~7 volume percent rice straw, molding the mixture by a machine or hand or pouring in a frame and drying, wherein the loess emits far infrared rays and anions in great quantity to promote the cerebral blood circulation of the human body and to improve the health of the human body, the pyroligneous liquid prevents diseases and insect pests as well as deodorization, the active carbon controls humidity, removes offensive odor and purifies polluted indoor air, and the wood blocks have environment-friendly effect with peculiar fragrance and relieve fatigue.
