Ethanol production from transformed Zymobacter microorganisms

This invention provides transformed microorganisms which can produce ethanol from cellooligosaccharide, by introducing beta-glucosidase gene by recombinant DNA method, into microorganisms belonging to genus Zymobacter which cannot utilize cellooligosaccharide.
